Memorial Day Weekend

Bianca had a great first Memorial Day weekend! We went to San Diego to visit Mark's parents and attend Mark's 20-year high school reunion. We had so much fun introducing Bianca to more of our friends and family. Bianca was even able to meet two of her new little friends, Carson Eli and baby Kennedy. Mark's parents were nice enough to watch Bianca for us a couple of nights so Mark and I were able to spend some time together by ourselves. Overall, it was a blast! We miss everyone and can't wait to see you all again either in CA or Las Vegas!

Uncle D

Darron and his girlfriend came to town to visit us and meet Bianca this weekend. Bianca was so excited to meet him that she didn't stop babbling about it all week (or at least that is what we guessed she was babbling about). We had a great day on Saturday just hanging out by the pool, swimming, and B-B-Qing. Bianca got to try on her oh-so-cool shades and she didn't even seem to mind them. Later that evening Stacie, the best babysitter ever, came to watch Bianca and the adults went out for a delicious dinner at Delmonico's steakhouse for Jeff Schoor's b-day.

Next time we are going to come and see you in San Francisco, Uncle Darron, and we are bringing ALL Bianca's baby stuff with us! Get ready! Love you, Uncle D!

Just for Fun...

We went to a barbecue at Jeff and Tina's on Sunday and Tina took some great pictures of the kids while we were there...

Riley's pretty interested in Bianca's purse!

Our friend, Julie, and her son, Riley, were in town visiting from Orange County so some of the girls and I decided to take the kids and go to lunch. We were quite a spectacle with the four high chairs lined up in a row at the very front of the resuarant. The kids were all very well behaved. Bianca was actuallly the *squirmiest* of the bunch (no surprise there!).

Mmm...Rice Cereal!

Saturday marked the first time that we fed Bianca rice cereal. We mixed it with some prune juice (gotta keep things moving) and gave it a try. As you can see, most of it came right back out but, I am happy to report that she is now on her fourth day of rice cereal and has made vast improvements. She now opens her mouth for the spoon and she may actually be ingesting a little cereal. I think it helped that we switched from the prune to the apple juice. Enjoy our little piggy!
