Until We Return...

Mark and I are headed off to Asia soon so I wanted to put a couple of pictures of Bianca up to hold everyone over until we return. As most of you know, the weather has warmed up out here so Bianca has been in the pool. We are working on her kicking, blowing bubbles in the water, and getting her used to going under water (as instructed per Aunt Traci - swim coach extraordinaire). Bianca loves the water so she is having a blast! She has also taken to trying to make herself dizzy lately by spinning herself round and round in circles. The thought of it makes me queasy but, apparently it is a great time for her!
We are going to miss her soo much on our trip but, she will be in great hands with the grandparents and, of course, we have lots of pictures of her with us. Back soon with pictures from our trip and hopefully some of Bianca as well!

Introducing...

...Baby Tadrissi! Expected to arrive at our home sometime in November! We will keep you up to date as to whether or not Bianca will have a baby sister or baby brother. It probably won't be until the end of June because that is when my next ultrasound is scheduled. Not sure how we are going to wait that long but, I am sure the time will fly by!!!
Bianca, of course, has no clue what is going on with the baby. I asked her tonight where the baby was in Mommy's belly and she acted like she was ignoring me and walked out of the room. To my amazement, she came right back in with a framed ultrasound picture of herself...guess it is okay to let her think the world still revolves around her - at least for a little while longer!

Congrats to Our Moms!

We were in San Diego again this past weekend (sometimes it seems as though we live there). While we were there, we attended a surprise retirement party for Mark's mom, Zarin! She was very surprised and we enjoyed yummy Mexican food, a delicious cake, and time with friends and family. We are very proud of both of our moms; my mom retired in December after a long career at the railroad and Zarin is officially retiring next month from her teaching position.

Unfortunately, I did not take a lot of pictures over the weekend and I did not get a lot of pictures of Bianca at the party. I am hoping that Parissa has some more of Bianca from the entire weekend and I will post those as soon as I receive them.
