She Knows What She Wants!

This past week, Bianca started telling me what she wanted to wear. I was simply trying to get her dressed like I normally do and I showed her what she was going to wear. She surprised me by saying, "No" and then went into her closet and said, "Minney". So she wore her Minney outfit on the first day. I thought this would be a fleeting event so I was surprised again the next day when she said, "heart - on". Thus, the heart dress. On the third day she wanted her "duckie" dress. I thought maybe she was a little too young for this but, friends have told me otherwise; let the fun begin!
In addition, there are a couple of pictures from the park with Bianca and Francesca playing in the sand box.

Look at those flushed little cheeks!

They love holding hands and walking around together!

Our Fun Week!

We had a busy week last week... Bianca experimented with some different hats (although she never keeps them on for long), she did some finger painting, and we had the pleasure of babysitting Francesca for a morning. The girls kept busy reading books together and watering the plants outside. On second thought, they may have watered the rocks more than the actual plants but, who's counting? Of course, we can't forget about Father's Day yesterday...Bianca and I took Mark out for breakfast and then Bianca brought Mark his bag full of gifts. Happy belated Father's Day!

Bianca is so lucky to have such a special Daddy!

Backyard Fun!

Bianca and I often kill time in the backyard early in the day and after her nap when we are waiting for Daddy to return home from work. She loves to put her feet in the pool and splash, blow bubbles, push her toys around and help me brush the dog. Unfortunately, she also tries to "brush" the bushes, roses, rocks, etc. She cracks me up but, I don't think the plants think it is too funny!
She is more amazing every day. She is eighteen months now and all of a sudden she has started adding words to her vocabulary on a daily basis. Today she woke from her nap and was pointing towards the front yard where she could hear our neighbors' dogs barking. Then she said, "rroof"! For those of you who don't know, if you ask her what the dog says she will usually pant :-) Then we went to the backyard and she saw a b-b-q brush and said, "brush". I believe she is also starting to put together two words. Just before bed she asked me for "more cookie". I know pretty soon I will be begging for some quiet but, for now I am quite amused hearing her precious little voice.

She is actually not picking her nose here... this is how she tells the dog to "shhh" when she barks. Who knew your finger needed to be up your nose?

Love that crooked little smile!

High-Five!

We had a fun evening out with the Gregoryans last weekend. First came dinner, then ice cream...of course! Bianca was all about giving high-fives out that night... she high-fived Mommy, Daddy, Francesca, and Amy. She wasn't too sure about Ray at dinner but, she warmed up to him later in the evening and then wouldn't leave him alone! All in all it was a relaxing evening in Vegas.
The preggos and their girls enjoying ice cream...yum!

A Few from the Park...

Mark and I are back from our trip and trying to get back into the swing of things! I will post some pictures as soon as I can get them all together. In the meantime, here are a few of Bianca at the park yesterday. She is quite the dare devil; she climbs up on the "big kid" play equipment and tries to swing from anything she can reach. I was exhausted from chasing her around but, she seemed to be able to go all day! She also really enjoyed the sand box, trying to scoop up sand into her little bucket. Can you believe she is going to be 18 months old on the 6th of this month?
