Pumpkin Pies

We have been having so much fun over the long weekend with Daddy home, Mimi visiting and our two little "Pumpkin Pies" to enjoy!!! Mimi kept Bianca busy by letting her help with the baking of some delicious pumpkin pies for Turkey Day. Of course, there was flour and dough everywhere and all over Bianca but, it was all in good fun. Our other little "Pumpkin" was able to enjoy the show from her bouncy seat.

First Few Days...

We made it through the first few days...Ellia is doing well...eating, sleeping, pooping, peeing...and Big Sister Bianca is adjusting to a new world without Mommy's attention 24/7. Thank goodness Mimi is here to play with her and spoil her! I can't wait to see how these two little girls start to interact with each other as Ellia becomes more alert...there's nothing better than sisters!

Ellia Shirin Has Arrived!

Ellia Shirin arrived at 9:59 AM on November 19. She weighed in at 6 lbs and 11 oz (only 1 oz short of Bianca's birth weight) and measured 18 inches long. Once I saw her, all of my concerns about juggling both children diminished and I just started enjoying her. How could I not? She is sooo sweet! It is amazing how much more relaxed I feel so far the second time around having already gone through all of the new baby issues.

Off to the hospital we go!

Our delivery nurse, Myrna...she delivered both Bianca and Ellia!

Day 2...ready to go home and meet big sister, Bianca!

We think she looks a lot like Bianca did but, without Daddy's cleft in her chin and fuller lips....

Bianca "helping" Mommy feed the baby...she just jumped right in!

Happy Birthday, "Cesca"!

We spent our last weekend with just the three of us like busy little bees. We tried to get a bunch of X-mas shopping finished, we had dinner with the Ushers and we attended Francesca's third b-day party at a carousel. Unfortunately the only pictures I was able to take were at the b-day party. Bianca had a blast there (as did every other kid!)! She threw a fit when we had to leave because she wanted to ride the carousel again and again and again... Of course, her favorite animal to ride there was the elephant (there was no dolphin) but, I was able to get her on a frog and a horse as well. The birthday party was topped off with pizza, cupcakes and a visit from Sleeping Beauty who was kind enough to make Bianca a dolphin balloon. Happy birthday, Francesca, or as Bianca would say "Cesca"!

She only eats the frosting...why waste all those calories on the cake?

The Cutest Flamenco Dancer

Happy Halloween!
Getting ready to go with her Hello Kitty Halloween bucket.

Bianca and her little friends, Ariana, Alec and Drake. Thank goodness they were friends of ours...when they opened the door for us, Bianca just walked right into their house. Thank goodness she didn't do it at any of the other homes!

Bowling and Mommy's Shoes

Bianca had her first ever bowling experience at Sean and Colin's 5th b-day party last week. With the help of Mom and Dad she did pretty good and even managed to knock a few pins down (oh, and did I mention that the gates were up on either side?)! I was so busy chasing her around the bowling alley that I didn't get too many pictures but, enjoy the few that we were able to take.
Waiting to see if she was able to knock any pins down...

Picking out her bowling ball with Francesca

In addition, Bianca LOVES to wear my shoes. She doesn't really seem to have a favorite pair, any will do. These happened to be laying around downstairs so she thought she would try them on for size...
