More From the Carousel and a 4 Month Comp

These first two pictures are Bianca when she was just over 4 months old. The next three are Ellia. Although they do look a lot like sisters to me, I think they are going to look a lot different than some may think. As you can see from the first two pictures, Bianca looked like a clone of her Daddy at four months and Ellia - I'm going to go out on a limb here - appears to be looking a little more like her Mommy? In fact, today while waiting in line to see the Easter Bunny, a woman told me that Ellia looked "exactly" like me. We shall see but, it would be nice to feel like something other than an incubator :-)

Of course Bianca's month would not be complete without a trip to the Carousel!

A Haircut, Friends and More...

We had quite the fun weekend! We started off on Friday by inviting Amy, Francesca and Dante over to play since Ray was out of town. The girls kept busy being their usual silly selves and playing ring around the rosie while Ellia and Dante held hands as they did some tummy time. Friday night I decided it was about time that Bianca had her first haircut (more of a trim) so off we went to Snips and Clips for Kids. On Saturday we hung out and Daddy was able to spend some much needed time catching up with his girls. Sunday we went to meet Cathy and Stan for brunch at the Four Seasons so we could catch up with them and they could meet Ellia. It was such a nice day that we decided to go to the park after brunch even though none of us were in our "play" clothes. Now it is Monday and back to reality but, there is always next weekend to look forward to again!
P.S. For those of you traveling with kids, I HIGHLY recommend the Four Seasons. They made our brunch with two kids a breeze, from the stuffed horse toy they gave Bianca when we walked in the door, to the portable DVD player ready to go for her at the table to the kiddie plates and utensils, etc. Everything was dialed in for the kiddos!

Sad But True

My baby is four months old...ALREADY! I honestly feel as though we just brought her home from the hospital but, at the same time I feel like she has always been a part of our family . I can't imagine what we ever did without her. She brings so much joy to our lives everyday with her smile that lights up a room and melts your heart. I would love to be able to push pause and keep her my "little ball of fun" forever...

First Dance Class

Today was Bianca's first dance class. We dressed her up like a little ballerina and off she went! Let's just say that it didn't go so well as Ellia decided that she did NOT want to sleep in her car seat in a room full of screaming two-year-old girls and Bianca decided that she did NOT want to peel herself off of my leg. Bianca did, however, enjoy the stamps on her hands that her teacher gave her at the end of class (imagine that, her favorite part of the class was the stamps at the end!). So we will try it again next week...
But, really, could she be any cuter???
Practicing being a ballerina up on her tippy-toes!
We finished off the morning with a green cupcake in honor of St. Patty's Day!

My happy baby!

Ellia and Dante

Ellia's arm must taste pretty good!

Our attempt to get a picture of all 4 kids together...not so successful but, Francesca and Bianca are having a blast anyway!

My Girls

Ok, I promise Ellia is a super smiley baby.... but, every time I break out the camera she is so obsessed with it that she won't smile. Guess I need to try to take more pictures of her when someone else is around so I can make her laugh and someone else can take the picture!

She sure is cute anyway!!!

Note Bianca's "cheese" smile that she is still into giving for the camera. I took this picture because no matter what outfit she is wearing, she ALWAYS wants the blue shoes (the ones that were clearly marked "Boys Blue Shoes" on the tag at Target). I try to tell her that they don't match but, she doesn't care. Of course, I let her wear them because who am I to stop her from being happy in her blue shoes!!

After I took the picture of her, she insisted that I take another of her and Carrera. So, here you go...

So Much to Do, So Little Time...

Time is just flying by these days so before another two weeks go by, here are some pictures to catch you up on the girls...

Some of these were taken on my iphone so not the best...This is her nightgown that she insists on wearing over her regular clothes. She doesn't like it b/c of the princesses, she likes it b/c of the HORSE on it!

She loves to put on lip gloss all by herself...

Bianca and Francesca...could they be any cuter???

Rockin out in the playroom!

Best Friends

Bianca picked up this Leap Frog learning pad and told me it was "my suitcase for the airport".

This is the face she makes when I ask her to smile and say "cheese"!
