Cheers to 5 Years

Mark and I took an amazing trip to Turkey and Greece for our five-year wedding anniversary along with some wonderful friends who were also celebrating the same. It was the perfect trip...beautiful weather, just enough sightseeing and plenty of relaxation by the pool. We have a lot to be thankful for!
There are way too many pictures to upload for the blog so I will just post a few highlights:

Our first Turkish feast of rice, kabobs, hummus and more!

The Blue Mosque

Hagia Sophia

Baklava galore!

Hand-made tiles at one of the mosques. The picture tells the story of creation.

Spice Market

Cruising the Bosphorus with the Bosphorus Bridge in the background, connecting two continents.

Cappadocia

Mark and I in the underground tunnels of Cappadocia.

Ahhh...Santorini...this is what we did most of our time here.

5 Years and Counting!

And one of the highlights of the trip was returning home to see the girls. The anticipation of it is even better than Christmas eve as we race home from the airport and pull into the driveway. During our time away, they had tons of fun with both Mimi and Poppy and Zarin-joon and Papa Teddy! Love my little girls more than words can say!
