Farm Day, Hillbilly Hoedown, and Beary

Bianca had a very busy week and weekend. She started off mid-week with a combined Farm Day and Harvest Party at school. I went in to help the class make scarecrow cookies and some other arts and crafts. While I was there, Bianca and her classmates visited the petting zoo and of course, had their Harvest Day Feast!

Of all of the furry and adorable animals there, Bianca was most excited to pet the turtle!

Bianca's teacher was talking to the class about the insides of the pumpkin (seeds, what you can make with the inside of pumpkin, etc.) She encouraged everyone to scoop out the insides but, Bianca said it was "disgusting" and wouldn't go near it!

Neither of us looking at the camera but, we will take what we can get when it comes to Mommy/daughter photos!

Bianca had the privilege of bringing "Beary" home this weekend from her classroom. She had to take care of him and document her weekend with him in her journal.

Here she is introducing Beary to her other animals as well as Ellia's bear, Pink.

Our day with Beary on Sunday - attempted the park but, got rained out. So we headed out to lunch and then to the pet store for entertainment!

This is what they do as soon as we pull into the garage. Once I shut off the engine, Bianca pops out of her seat, she unbuckles Ellia from her car seat, and Ellia yells, "Hide, hide!", and they "hide" from me on the bottom of the car floor.

This is how Ellia typically comes out of the bathroom. She does this on her own without me even knowing she is making herself fancy!

Finally, Mimi and Poppy arrive!

Bianca's first time ever at the movie theater. As most of you probably know, she does NOT like loud noises. But, because this movie involved a dolphin she decided to give it a try. She had watched the trailer for the movie at home on my computer about 100 times before she went!

Mimi and Poppy said she covered her ears during the previews but, thoroughly enjoyed the movie! Success!
