Happy Thanksgiving/Mimi's Birthday!

 Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of the table and our actual Thanksgiving meal since I was nursing the little man at the time.  I did manage to get some of everyone while we were singing "Happy Birthday" to Mimi.  Needless to say, the girls were thrilled to have Mimi, Poppy and Gigi with us for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Happy Third Birthday, Ellia!

 

Happy birthday to the most beautiful three year old princess we know!  We celebrated at home on her actual birthday with pink cupcakes and Daddy surprised her by bringing home pink princess balloons...her favorite!

Some facts about our little girl:

*  She is definitely the drama queen girly girl of our family so far. 

*  She loves her dance class (tap and ballet) and makes me dress her in her dance costumes on most days.

*  Even though she doesn't take gymnastics class like Bianca she does "gymnastics" at home.  This mostly consists of her attempting to do handstands on the mats in the playroom.

*  Her favorites animal is a kitty cat and her favorite color is pink. 

*  She is quite a challenge to parent at this age as she is very stubborn.  She doesn't handle "time out" very well or being told "no".  

*  She pronounces her "c" sounds like a "t" sound.  She says "be-tause" instead of because and "o-tay" instead of okay.

*  She loves her new baby brother and can often be found comforting him by rubbing his back and saying "It's okay, don't you worry.".  She is such a little Mommy and that is probably where she earned her nickname, "Little Momma".  

*  One of the cutest/funniest things she says is "Sorry about that, Bianca.  I am very sorry about that.".

He didn't really enjoy it but, he sure is one cute and clean baby now!

Four Days Old and Counting

 

So far, so good.  Sebastian seems to be taking after his sister, Bianca, with his sleeping and eating patterns

...not like Ellia who ate and slept perfectly but, not the worst either.  We'll take it!

He does seem to be very smiley so far and I know that they say babies don't actually smile until they are a few weeks old or so but, I just don't believe that his smiles aren't directed at me.

Happy Early Birthday, Bianca and Ellia!

 We celebrated the girls' birthdays a little early this year since baby brother is expected to make his grand arrival soon and we wanted to make sure the girls received special attention.  So we headed off to Noah's Art for an Under the Sea themed party...it was a hit!  The girls really enjoyed themselves and their friends did too.  Ellia woke up with a little cold that morning so she wasn't quite as chipper as usual but, she hung in there (yes, she is sick constantly but, you would be too if you had your thumb in your mouth and your blankie with you 24/7).  The kids decorated birthday banners for the girls, had some face painting (or hand painting in my girls' case), made fish hats and bracelets and also painted a special under the sea picture that included some hidden messages.  Top that off with blue cupcakes for Bianca and pink ones for Ellia and you  have yourself an incredible 3rd and 5th birthday party!
