4 Month Update

Future Husbands?

Bianca became 4 months old on April 6... boy, how time flies! We took her to the doctor last week for her check-up (and some yucky vaccines). She now weighs 13 lbs. 6 ounces (50% percentile) and was a little more than 24.25" (50% percentile). Her poor little head is now in the 10% percentile but, the doctor said not to worry, she just has a little head. He kept commenting on how happy and smart she was, which made us feel really good!

Farnoosh and Tanya, Mark's cousins, came to visit for a little while recently. We were all so happy to see them for the short time they were with us.

Bianca and I also had a playdate with Traci and the Usher boys recently. They are definitely breaking Bianca into their world of trucks, bikes, basketball, etc.... all the things that little boys like! The boys are all very sweet with Bianca and take good care of her. The twins were even able to hold her on their laps for a picture in their PJs before bedtime!

First Purse

Mark, Bianca, and I went shopping over the weekend. We went to check out a beautiful new outdoor mall, Towne Square, and we also did some shopping at Boca Park. Well, a baby girl needs a purse when she is out shopping, right? Thank goodness Uncle Jim and Aunt Chara sent her an adorable Louis Vuitton for Christmas. Okay, it is not an authentic Louis Vuitton but, don't tell Bianca that. She loves it! She hasn't quite figured out the purpose of the purse other than to chew on it yet though. Let's hope that it stays that way for a while!

Daddy time!

We were fortunate to have Bianca's Aunt Andrea and Uncle Alan come to visit us this past weekend all the way from New Jersey! We had lots of fun just hanging out, watching movies and the NCAA tournament, and eating lots of Mark's delicious cooking. Can't wait to see you guys again! Bianca asks that you please bring her two favorite cousins, Aidan and Atlee, with you next time!

Bianca has had a busy past few days. She went with me to Mark's office to hang out while I had my teeth cleaned last Thursday. She had her picture taken with the Easter bunny on Friday followed by a b-b-q at the Ushers. On Saturday, Bianca finally got to meet baby Castor and she had lots of fun playing in his Exersaucer. She had so much fun that we decided to put the one that we had for her together at home. On Sunday we had a wonderful Easter including lots of yummy food and an Easter egg hunt with the Marnells and their friends and family. Phew! No wonder why Bianca has been sleeping so well lately!

Happy Days!

We have been having so much fun with Bianca lately! We had professional pictures taken of her on Sunday by the best children's photographer in the world (in our opinion), Jennifer Wilson. The pictures should be ready in about two weeks and we will be sure to post the link to them so you all can enjoy them as well. We were a little nervous about how Bianca would behave during the shoot since she isn't really used to big black cameras clicking in her face but, she was great! We also went to the park this week to meet the Usher boys and some other friends. Bianca mostly slept and ate while we were there but, it was really nice to be out on a beautiful day. Bianca finally got to meet the Degan twins, Maya and Sophia, today. They are getting so big and I know that before long, we will all be meeting at the park in Queensridge together. We weighed Bianca while we were at the Degan's house because they have a baby scale and Bianca is now 12 lbs. 11 ounces. She can also roll over from her back to her tummy now as we realized this morning when we went to pick her up from her crib. She had been rolling over onto her tummy for a while but, she was never able to pull her one arm out from under her. I guess she figured it out last night!
