 Bianca finally decided to wear this leotard that Mimi had purchased for her about a year ago.  She said that in the leotard with the long sleeves she looks like a "real gymnast".

Sky Top Orchard

We headed up to the mountains last weekend to do some apple picking.  The scenery and weather were beautiful and the girls had so much fun!  The orchard had a delicious bakery, a playground for the kids, farm animals to feed, tractor rides, and even a little bamboo trail.  Oh, and let's not forget the apples and apple cider! Bianca enjoyed it so much that as we were pulling into the driveway at home she said, "Thank you for taking us to the apple orchard.".  Makes the trip totally worth it!  Both of the girls' favorite part was climbing the trees and picking the apples (with Daddy's help, of course). 

 

Thumbs up for the pumpkin and apple cider doughnuts!  When Mark told me he purchased one dozen I thought it was a bit much.  But, we had them finished before we even left the orchard to go to lunch.

Ellia's First Dance Class

Ellia has officially become the "ham" of our family.  She is always asking me to turn on the music so she can dance, she sings songs constantly, she practically lives in her "ballet" costumes, and she LOVES to have her picture taken.  So I enrolled her in a tap/ballet class here as soon as a spot opened up.  Today was our first day of class.  She was a little hesitant when she first went in but, she was quickly doing her shuffle steps, plies, grand jetes, etc. with the best of them!

Porch Bath

These girls can't seem to get enough of playing in water, with water...every time I turn around it seems like there is another flood in the house!  They asked me if they could take baby brother's bath tub on to the porch to practice giving their baby doll a bath (they really want to be prepared when baby brother arrives!).  Two minutes later, I look out the window and this is what I see...  

 Wish I could say I was surprised!

Home Sick

Because of a week-long fever, Bianca and I were able to spend some special alone time together while Ellia was at school.  It definitely pays to be home sick with Mommy!

Freedom Park and Labor Day Weekend

 

The girls wanted to have dinner on the porch one of the nights Zarin was visiting.  I honestly think they must  take silly pills instead of their regular vitamins every morning!
