Bianca Reads to Ellia

Bianca loves to read books to Ellia (by memory).  She puts Ellia on her lap just like I do with the girls.  It is so sweet to see how proud she is that she can read books to Ellia too!  She is going to make such a wonderful Mommy some day!

Vanessa Puts Ellia Down for a Nap

Vanessa and Christian were over at our house playing recently around Ellia's nap time.  I guess Vanessa decided to put Ellia down for her nap early without telling me first and this is how I walked in to find Ellia.  When I walked in she told me, "Leave me alone, Mommy!".  I guess she liked the way Vanessa put her down with a pillow (I usually don't), and all of her animals and babies surrounding her.  Too cute!

Bianca's School Hat Parade

Bianca had a Hat Parade at school recently.  I cringed when I first found out about it because Bianca is not exactly a hat girl.  Luckily, we went to the Dollar Store on her teacher's advice and came out with a dinosaur hat!  As soon as I saw it I let out a sigh of relief because I could see how excited she was.  She was so excited that she wore it around the house stomping and roaring since that is what dinosaurs do!  At the actual parade she was a little more shy because she had an audience of all of the parents and students there to watch the 3-year-old class.  But, at the end of the day when I went to pick her up, she was still wearing her hat!

Mrs. Pacini leading the way!

Waving to her fans, Christian and Nicholas!

Easter 2012

*Egg Hunts
*Coloring Eggs with Mimi and Poppy
*Easter Morning
*Easter Party at Bianca's School

Anxiously awaiting their turn to hunt for eggs!
Checking out their loot after the hunt!
Not cooperating for additional pictures we tried to take b/c they are too busy eating candy :-)

Bianca hard at work making sure her tattoos stay on the eggs.

Giving me her best fake smile!

After all of their hard work...ta-da!  Beautiful eggs!
Easter morning...Bianca is more excited about her new grow-in-water dragonfly and her Cinderella Easter card from Mimi and Poppy than her Easter basket!  Ha!
Proof that the Easter Bunny was here!

The little princess sneaking some Easter candy!

Bianca making a "Pita" Rabbit at school for Easter snack.

Impromptu Trip to South Beach

Last weekend we took a last minute trip to South Beach. Mark and the kids came with me to run an errand in Coral Gables and then we decided to continue on to South Beach since we rarely make it down there. We had Beary for the weekend again so he enjoyed the trip with us.

Bianca an Beary helping Daddy make us a veggie omelette.

Lunch overlooking the beach!

I know I need to work on the whole hair and makeup before leaving the house thing but, isn't Ellia yummy?
Finally, we were all spoiled by a trip to Kilwin's!

On another note, here are a couple of pictures that Bianca asked me to take of the girls and Carrera. I figured that with all of Carrera's illnesses lately she is probably on her ninth live (if dogs have nine lives) and I better jump at the opportunity to get her in some pictures.

Snakes in Springtime

Bianca's first masterpiece! Have you even seen a more beautiful portrait of snakes in the Spring? The kids at Parkway Christian completed art work for their art show last week and just as you guessed, Bianca somehow managed to incorporate snakes into her project. She titled it "Snakes in Springtime". When I asked her to tell me about it she said, "There's the grass, a tree, the sun, a pink, purple, yellow and blue snake, and an orange snake that is all coiled up.". I love her to the moon and back and then some more!

Disney World 2012 with the Molinos

Our trip to Disney with the Molinos and Mimi and Poppy was perfect! We did have one day of rain but, even that didn't dampen our spirits. The kids had a wonderful time at the parks and every night we came home to meals that Mimi and Poppy had prepared ahead of time. Yum!

Before we headed to Disney, the Molino girls decided they wanted to swim in our (what we believe to be) freezing cold pool. The girls insisted that they were warm even with their blue lips chattering.

Off to Disney and about to climb the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House!

Climbing up and down in that tree house really wore the girls out!

Let the character meet and greet/autographs begin!

I was shocked to see how excited Bianca was to meet the princesses! Look at her face - priceless!

She keeps reminding me that Belle told her it was okay to stand on her dress for the picture because everybody does it.

She told Cinderella, "You are my favorite Princess". Of course, it's because she wears blue.

She told me her favorite part of the day was meeting Pluto!

Unfortunately Ellia was sleeping during our time with the princesses and Pluto but, I know that they will be there next time we visit Disney too!

Day 2- Animal Kingdom - we had very little time before it started pouring rain.
We did have a chance to meet Pocahontas. She and Bianca bonded over a love of snakes.

We were also able to meet Mickey. Ellia acted really excited to see him but, as soon as it was our turn she high-tailed it out of there. She did say "bye-bye" to him though.
Because of the rain we saw the Lion King Show as well as the Nemo show, had lunch in Dino World, and then went home. Bianca and Kennedy had a great time in the Molinos' condo pool while the little ones slept.
Later that night after dinner, our tired little girls watched a movie. The three thumb suckers and Kennedy.

I left our camera battery in the room to charge by accident on the third day. Hopefully I can post more pictures of our trip once I receive them from the Molinos.

This is soo sweet! Ellia feeding London, being true to her nickname - "Little Mommy".
